Goats Head Historical Fencing is an Historical European Martial Arts Club and Study Group based in the South East of Ireland who train regularly in Wexford. The group's main focus is the German Tradition of Historical Martial Arts, specialising in Longsword, Sword & Buckler, and Dussack. The club also dabbles in Singlestick, Sabre, Rapier, Polearms, Bronze Age Halberd combat, Dagger and Ringen. While the group draws from many sources, their principle areas of study include Psuedo-Peter Von Danzig & Ringeck for 15th Century Longsword, although the collected works of Joachim Meyer are their primary sources for Renaissance Longsword, Dussack, polearms and Dagger. For Sword & Buckler, their primary source is the earliest known Medieval Fighting Treatise, MS I.33. Goats Head Historical Fencing trains weekly in Wexford at Menapia Martial Arts Centre, Unit 14, Westpoint Business Park, every Thursday evening from 7.30pm - 9.30pm
